We’re Accepting New Patients!
What should I expect on my first visit?
During your initial appointment, we will discuss your diagnosis and explore treatment options. In some cases, surgery can be performed on the same day as your consultation. However, if your medical history or treatment plan is complex, a second appointment may be necessary to complete the evaluation and provide the required treatment on a different day.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
To help us serve you better, please bring the following items to your consultation:
- Your surgical referral slip and any applicable x-rays.
- A list of medications you are currently taking.
- Completed forms for your medical or dental insurance, if applicable. This will save time and help us process your claims more efficiently.
IMPORTANT: Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the consultation.
What if I am receiving IV anesthesia?
For patients who will receive IV anesthesia for surgery, a preoperative consultation and physical examination are mandatory. Do not eat or drink anything for eight hours before your surgery. You will also need an adult to escort you home.
What if I have a medical condition?
Please inform our office if you have any medical conditions that may be relevant to your surgery (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic fever) or if you are taking any medications (e.g., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy).
What if I have had x-rays taken?
If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, please ask them to forward the images to our office. If time is short, you may pick them up and bring them with you. If additional x-rays are needed, they can be taken at our facility.
